Today I am sharing a card that I created for one of my best friend's son who is turning 2! His birthday party is later on today and I can't wait to celebrate with him!
My inspiration came from the current sketch over at
Mojo Monday. I chose to follow the square option.
I kept this card very simple. All designer paper is from Basic Grey - Max & Wiskers paper pad. The number two was computer generated using the font Plantagenet Cherokee - size 200. Sponging was added in Memento - Rich Cocoa. The animals are from Stampin' Up! - Fox & Friends, and were stamped in Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry. I cut the lion and giraffe out and added them to the number two using dimensionals. My finishing touches were the stitching and some brown and white baker's twine.

Great card; the most sophisticated one I've ever seen for a two year old, yet the lion and giraffe add just the perfect amount of whimsy.
